Visit with Union County DAV

This past week, we stopped by the Indian Trail VFW hut to meet with members of all the Union County affiliated veteran's organizations. The event was put together by the DAV of Union County. Many thanks to the post commander at the VFW for hosting us and to Frank Feldman for the invitation.

Good News for Veterans

Good news for those of you who are veterans. Our staff attended a town hall meeting last night put on by the VA and learned that a major Veterans Health Care Center will open in Charlotte in 2013. They described the facility as 250,000 to 400,000 SQ FEET and would have even more expanded services than the present clinic. Good news.

Veterans Town Hall Meeting

For all you veterans, there will be a Veterans Town Hall Meeting on July 15th at 6:00 pm at the Charlotte VA Clinic, 8601 University East Drive. The event is sponsored by the VA Medical Center in Salisbury and the topic is "Improving Veteran's Access to Care." Our office will have a representative present at the event.
