This past week, I had the opportunity to provide some logistical support to a legislative briefing organized by the non-profit group, ACT for America. If you are not familiar with the group, check them out at www.actforamerica.org My friend, Brigitte Gabriel is the founder and President of the organization (she's the one in the picture above). The group had its first annual DC Legislative Briefing where they had briefings provided by those members of Congress who are leading the fight against the rise of radical Islamist ideology in America.
Members like Sue Myrick, Bill Shuster, John Shadegg, Dana Rohrabacher, Frank Wolf and several others participated.
One of the attendees and a huge supporter of ACT for America was the actor Robert Duvall, which was kind of cool speaking and getting to know him.
