Got back in town on Tuesday night from a brief work outing in DC. Need to let the world know of the best burger I have ever eaten. Unfortunately, it is called the Obama Burger. But politics aside. It was awesome. The burger is a farmhouse burger topped with blue cheese, chewy bacon, onion marmalade and a mayo-horseradish concoction. Along with a vanilla milk shake and fries, this burger could single-handily do more for bi-partisanship than any other Obama action. The restaurant is called Good Stuff Eatery and is located just a couple of blocks from our Congressional office. The President's address might be 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, but his burger is located at 303 Pennsylvania.
The place was packed, but the service is quick and worth the brief wait.
Celebrity Chef, Spike Mendelsohn (Bravo's Top Chef Alumni) is the establishment's owner and Michelle Obama and staff came and ate at the location a few days prior to my visit.
If ever in DC, check it out.
