Last night I addressed the executive committee of the Gaston County Republican Party. I gave an update on our homeland security and anti-terrorism related activities and spoke about the dangers of the rise of radical Islam in America and abroad. I spoke after State Representative Pearl Burris Floyd's impassioned talk about One Nation Under God and after Commissioner John Torbett's historical evolution of the Pledge of Allegiance.
