Unpaid Intern - The Office of Congressman Bill Shuster (PA-09) is seeking unpaid interns for the Spring of 2010 in his Washington, DC office. Candidates should be self-motivated, team players that are ready to work in a faced-paced environment. The internship will provide individuals with an opportunity to gain a hands-on experience in a Congressional office while gaining a valuable understanding of the Legislative Branch of the Federal Government. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: answering phones, sorting constituent mail, attending committee hearings and briefings for staff, data entry, and giving tours of the Capitol.
