Presentation Scheduled for Jan. 20th in Shelby, NC
I will be giving the 2.0 version of the Connect the Dots presentation this upcoming week (January 20, 2011) at a joint gathering of several GOP and Tea Party related groups in Shelby, NC. The presentation begins at 7:00 pm in the gym of the Bethel Baptist Church in Shelby. Hope you can make it. This an awesome gathering of people whom I've had the pleasure of addressing before last year. Very active and motivated group of concerned citizens. God bless them.

Sue Myrick on Huckabee: Studio Photos
Sue taped a Huckabee show this past Saturday in NYC. Had a great time. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Here are some of the backstage photos. Got some cool autographs. Show will air Nov. 27 and 28th. Discussion focused on terrorism related issues.

Sue with Woody Frazer, executive producer of the show and legendary producer in his own right. Woody was the guy who created the Mike Douglas show and other long running main stays on tv like Good Morning America and That's Incredible to name but a few.

Eastern North Carolina Tea Party Tomorrow
Tomorrow, Saturday Oct 2nd, I will be one the keynote speakers at the Eastern North Carolina Tea Party Rally in Little Washington, NC. For those of you who heard me speak in Greenville a couple of months ago, I hope to see you again. Expecting a very large crowd (over 1,000). Starts at 1:00 pm with speeches starting around 2:00 pm. I go on stage around 2:30 pm. Hope to see you there!

Tea and Me
I will be speaking at a Eastern North Carolina Tea Party Get Out the Vote Rally on Oct 2nd in Little Washington (2:00 - 4:00 pm rally time). I will be covering illegal immigration and terrorism issues in my remarks. For those of you whom I've recently met down East, come on out. I look forward to seeing you. Supposed to be a fairly large event.

Politic-ing with Pendergraph


We attended a fundraising event last night with our good friend Jim Pendergraph who is running for Mecklenburg County Commissioner. As many of you know, Sue and Jim worked very close together on fighting illegal immigration when Jim was Sheriff. Let's hope he wins and can help clean up the county government!

Connect The Dots Presentation Schedule
For those of you in the Charlotte area who have expressed an interest in sitting through one of the Connect the Dots: Radicalization 101 Seminars, I have three coming up, one each week for the next three weeks. All are privately hosted events, but are good venues and if you are interested email me and I will get you a seat. For those of you in the Gaston / Cleveland County areas, I will be giving it in Shelby Tuesday of next week. Again, email me if you want details.

Tennessee Speech Photos

Had a great time in Tennessee this weekend, though I got home after midnight last night. Many thanks to the TN Federation of Republican Women for the invite. While there, we got to shoot handguns on their firing range.

On The Road
Has been and will continue being a busy week, as we are on the road for most of it. Here are some photos of some of our stops. Here Sue is in studio with John Boy and Billy.
Sue took Q and A from the seniors at the Providence Plantation community.
Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Epstein of Charlotte, held a reception in Sue's honor in their home. Great discussions at this one.
We received a briefing and took a tour of the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) in Charlotte. This was very helpful to us, as Sue is a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
Sue met with Small Business Owners and took Q and A at an event set up by the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce.

I enjoyed my time in Pitt County this week. Great reception and feedback. Special thanks to Ginny and Kim and the Greenville Republican Women for coordinating the joint meeting.

Sue Myrick Eagle Scout and Gold Award Ceremony
Earlier this afternoon, Congresswoman Sue Myrick presented certificates of Congressional recognition to over one hundred young men and women who achieved the rank of Eagle Scout (Boy Scouts) or Gold Award (Girl Scouts). Huge crowd of well over 400 family and friends joined in recognizing these fine young people who are all ready leaders at such an early age. Enjoy the photos.

Stumping for Kathy Harrington for Senate
Last night, after our own event in Charlotte, we attended a reception over in Gaston County for State Senate candidate and our good friend Kathy Harrington. Thought you would enjoy some of the photos. Kathy should win the seat, replacing the retiring Sen. David Hoyle, putting that seat firmly on the Republican side of the aisle.
