Executive Assistant/Scheduler – The office of Congressman Jim Gerlach is currently accepting applications from qualified candidates for an Executive Assistant/Scheduler position in the Washington, DC office. Responsibilities include scheduling DC meetings and events for the Congressman; processing executive correspondence; managing office internship program; and assisting with other duties as assigned. Required skills: This is an extremely demanding position that requires someone used to working under pressure and managing multiple assignments simultaneously. Interns in the Washington, D.C. office will be responsible for assisting with general office duties (answering phones, passing out mail, distributing faxes), and assisting legislative staff with research and writing. Performing constituent services (scheduling tours, processing flag requests, and legislative correspondence) will also be an integral part of each internship.
